Wow... a baby boy!

Well, sorry for the quick and non-elaborative email sharing our news! We've been so busy in a sea of phone calls, emails, and planning! :)

Let me start by saying how thrilling it was to see our baby after so long! He's changed quite a bit from the last time we saw him at 8wks! He's no longer our "little bean!" (In size at least!) David just attached the video of our sonogram if you want to watch it! (See previous entry.) The pictures are AMAZING, but there's something about watching him move that just takes our breath away! We especially love watching his little mouth move! :) (Side note... the password is "vinson" in case you missed that under the video.)

We are absolutely thrilled we're having a boy! David's already got countless dangerous adventures in mind for the two of them! I am already picking out my favorite knee pads for all the praying for safety I will be doing! :) We picked out his baby bedding (Baby Gap- construction trucks) and paint (light blue, light brown, & chocolate brown.)

Our little son is becoming stronger! (Although not strong enough to be felt on the outside yet.) It sure has been fun to have just seen him and feel him!

I have been much calmer and relaxed lately. I just keep reminding myself (and David reminds me too) who is sitting on the throne. Whew! Thank goodness I don't have to have control over things... that would be pretty scary! Active rest in my Fathers arms has been a source of great peace!
